The necklace was made with genuine lapis lazuli teardrops and a 9mm round garnet cabochon. The centerpiece is an antique gold coloured scarab stamping, beaded around with various colours of TOHO seeds and cubes in dark olive, navy and gold.
The backing is olive ultrasuede. The colours of this necklace, the metallic iris blues and greens resemble the the living scarabs natural colours.
The necklace is 19,5 inches (50 cm) long and ½ inch (12 mm) wide. The pendant is 3 7/8 x 2 1/2 in. (9,5 x 6,5 cm) including the 4,5 cm fringe.
